About Curve Radio
Curve Radio is an independent, non-commercial online radio project operated from Newcastle upon Tyne. It is not a company, registered charity, care provider, medical service or emergency service.
Using the website and stream
You may use the website and listen to the stream for personal, lawful purposes. You must not disrupt the service, bypass security, introduce malicious code, create unreasonable server load or falsely represent yourself as Curve Radio.
Availability
The website, schedule and stream may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn without notice. Curve Radio cannot guarantee continuous availability, a particular programme schedule or compatibility with every device.
Programme content
Programmes may contain personal opinions and unscripted discussion. Views expressed by presenters and guests are their own unless clearly stated otherwise. Content is for general entertainment and community discussion and must not be treated as medical, legal, financial, care or emergency advice.
Recordings and replays
Live broadcasts may be recorded through AzuraCast and replayed later as part of the station's scheduled linear stream. The website does not currently provide listener-selected downloads or on-demand programmes.
Copyright and music rights
The Curve Radio name, logo, website design, original text, graphics and original programme material may be protected by copyright or other rights. You must not copy, sell, alter or rebroadcast Curve Radio material without permission unless the law allows it.
Music and other third-party material remain the property of their respective rights holders. Nothing on this website transfers or claims ownership of that material.
Other projects
Curve Radio may occasionally mention projects connected with its operator. These mentions are unpaid unless clearly stated otherwise. Third-party websites and services are responsible for their own content, privacy and terms.
Community participation
Presenter and volunteer roles are limited to adults aged 18 or over and are managed through Discord. Participation is not employment and does not create a partnership, agency or entitlement to payment unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, Curve Radio is not responsible for losses caused by ordinary service interruption, reliance on general programme opinions, third-party services or use contrary to these terms.
